On Thursday, October 9th, CDA joined community members, city leaders, and project partners in celebrating the grand opening of the Tru by Hilton Hotel Grimes. Located within the growing Hope District at 701 NE Gateway Drive, the new four-story, 116-room hotel brings much-needed lodging options to Grimes and supports the City’s vision of offering urban-style amenities in a suburban setting.
As the second hotel in Grimes, Tru by Hilton enhances the experience for visitors to the nearby Hy-Vee Multiplex and surrounding attractions, while also contributing to the vitality of the 200-acre Hope District, a master-planned development blending sports, retail, dining, housing, and hospitality.
CDA is proud to have provided full civil engineering and site development services for this project, including surveying, site design, utility planning, grading, landscape design, and construction administration support.
