Dogwoods Lodge

Dogwoods Lodge is a dog daycare and boarding facility located at 2960 SE Grimes Boulevard in Grimes, Iowa. The 11,144-square-foot building sits on site that includes approximately 30,000 square feet of fenced outdoor space for dog kennels and play yards. Additional features include enhanced landscaping, a coordinated parking lot layout, and sidewalk connections throughout the property. Civil Design Advantage provided full civil engineering services from initial survey through project completion. This included boundary and topographic surveys, preliminary and final site design, and construction staking. CDA also designed utility services, grading, sidewalks, and stormwater systems, while managing cost estimating and permitting through the Iowa DNR and ACOE. Blending functional site design with regulatory compliance, CDA helped deliver a safe, efficient, and thoughtfully designed facility tailored to the needs of both dogs and their owners.
