Northview Stadium is a multi-phase renovation project for the Ankeny Community School District, enhancing the long-standing stadium facilities to meet modern athletic and community needs. Phases 2 and 3 encompassed 48.08 acres and delivered significant upgrades, including a new team building with multi-use meeting space, updated locker and training facilities, expanded parking, and resurfacing of the track.
CDA served as the civil engineer and surveyor for the project, providing comprehensive services such as topographic survey, demolition planning, grading and utility design, erosion and sediment control, striping and landscape plans, and site planning for track resurfacing. CDA’s role extended through design and coordination meetings, schematic design, preparation of construction documents, bid phase services, and limited construction administration and observation.
The improvements concludes a multi-year transformation, creating a modernized stadium environment designed to enhance the experience for athletes, officials, and the community.
