NW 18th Street Extension

The NW 18th Street Extension project included reconstruction of 3,800 feet of NW 18th Street along with reconstruction of tie-ins to side roads and entrances. The project included complete removal of the existing two-lane gravel section and replacement with a three-lane paved road, with left turn lanes provided at intersections. Improvements also included extension of an 18-inch sanitary trunk sewer and 12-inch water main, as well as a shared use path along the length of the road to provide connectivity to adjacent paths.

The project included coordination with subconsultants for wetland delineation, geotechnical services, and right-of-way purchase. CDA provided topographic and boundary survey, preliminary and final design, acquisition plat preparation, DNR and Corps of Engineers permitting, construction staking, full-time construction administration and observation, and preparation of assessment plats and schedule.
