Since its opening in 2021, the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex has been met with great success from the public. The City of West Des Moines is in preliminary discussions about expansion to meet growing demand and enhance the facility’s offerings.
Civil Design Advantage played a role in the development of this project by providing comprehensive services that included master planning, preliminary design, and final design. Additionally, CDA offered limited construction administration to ensure the project’s successful completion. The preliminary and final design phases involved the preparation of detailed construction and contract documents, enabling the city to bid the project in accordance with bidding laws and regulations. This meticulous approach ensured that the RecPlex met all necessary standards and provided a top-tier recreational facility for the community.
