SE Hulsizer Road Realignment

CDA was contracted by the City of Ankeny to realign a newly signalized three-lane roadway. The project, funded through RISE, included full street construction and utility installation along approximately 1,165 lineal feet of re-aligned SE Hulsizer Road, from SE Oralabor Road to existing SE Hulsizer Road.

CDA addressed stormwater design, including storm sewer pipe, intake, and culvert design, along with grading and other elements related to a functional roadway design. The project also included utility coordination, development of a construction staging plan, and full right-of-way services, including preparation of acquisition, easement, and temporary easement plats. CDA provided topographic survey, conceptual planning, preliminary and final design, public outreach, construction cost estimating, coordination with utility companies, as-built survey, and RISE services.
