On March 26, 2026, project partners and community members gathered in Grimes to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Home Place, an inclusive residential development designed to support individuals with disabilities.

Located at 1651 NW 2nd Street (NE corner of Highway 44 & County Line Road), the project is part of the Hope Timber development by Hope Development & Realty, with construction by Larson Development.
The 16.69-acre site will include a 98,559-square-foot building with 40 residential units and an attached garage with 18 spaces. Civil engineering and surveying services for the project were provided by CDA, including site design, utilities, and grading.
The Home Place is centered on providing integrated, sustainable housing that fosters independence, connection, and long-term community. The project also aims to serve as a replicable model for inclusive residential development.
CDA is proud to be part of a project that supports long-term community impact. Explore more project updates on the CDA News page and learn more about The Home Place here.
