Edgewater Retirement is a 44-acre retirement campus developed by Wesley Retirement Services within the Michael’s Landing planned community in West Des Moines. The campus features over 130 independent living apartments, 76 active adult townhomes, 32 assisted living units, 16 memory care apartments, and a dedicated Celebration Center for community gatherings.
CDA provided comprehensive civil engineering, site planning, and landscape architecture services to support the development of the campus. Our team performed grading and utility design, prepared site plans for approval, and developed detailed construction documents. We also completed surveying to ensure accurate site assessments and integrated landscape improvements to enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
Through this collaborative approach, CDA helped create a well-planned, functional, and visually appealing retirement community that supports a wide range of living options and amenities for residents.
