Land Survey Technician – Office
Civil Design Advantage (CDA) is accepting applications for a full-time Land Survey Technician. CDA is looking for a self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in supporting survey and engineering projects. Candidate will work directly with project managers, professional land surveyors, and design team members providing surveying and technical support services for projects.
Responsibilities
- Support of survey and engineering tasks under the direction of Project Managers and Professional Land Surveyors.
- Property boundary and easement research.
- Section corner tie research and documentation.
- Preparation of plats, corner tie certificates, site plans, maps, and easement exhibits.
- Preparation of permits, as-builts, and technical reports for surveying and engineering projects.
- Surface model creation from measured elevations.
- Coordination and communication with clients, cities, counties, and the public regarding project-related items.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of related experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
- Land surveying field experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, high level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Position offers opportunity for career growth, including progression toward Project Manager or Professional Land Surveyor roles. Compensation is hourly and dependent on experience and abilities.
